The Moment of Lights which falls on 17 October 2009

This year was something i would look forward again next year. Is Deepavali!!!!!! Many of my college friends were wondering why the heck was i so happy about. Well as i know is not only 1 reason BUT i could meet up with my high school friends and have fun eating, drinking, jokes, and to forget PHOTO session.

It was not a regret he pull me out of the house because i was freaking tired due to the night before open house in Yuva's house. Another fun part during the open house.

1st 3 cars from uni went down to Pumkin Avenue. When we reach the house, we greeted her parents and i was thinking in my head, her friends are more than her family..lol...Is she getting married???????...LOL.

So we sat at the table eating cookies and chit chatting then makan time. After indulging the delicious food, we start to wonder around the neighbourhood and Photo session!!!!! Then here comes the fun part where we ask for cards. There we go "gambling" without money. 1st we played a game similar to MAFIA but i could not recall the name of the game. The next game we played was BLUFF. We were practically making lots of noise but who cares..

The next day was Deepavali.... He call me on the phone asking me to get ready, bath and dress up and he would come and pick me up 30 mins later. I had in mind of not going due to tiredness but as i had promise him i decided to do what he told.

Had shower and thinking what to wear and finally he came and we went to Ram's house. As i wish ram's family members HAPPY DEEPAVALI, Ram's mom ask me

"Eh you also celebrating deepavali ah"

I was in shock and told her no aunty...and i start to laugh in the heart..LOL...

So i sat at the dinning table eating "ITLY"(i hope is the right spelling) because i had lunch in my house and i was so full...Everyone at the table were asking me..

"Lynette you also vegetarian ah???"
I was like no la...too full so eating little bit.LOL

We were chit chatting, joking around then fire cracker on the floor. Next we went to Satish Mohan house and then we out with him for awhile and back home...

Could have spend more time with him but i rush him back to his uncle.So till next time..hehe..*blush*..

I have found out that i m really bad in waking up for my 8am classes
I am always late for classes but thank god my lecturers are quite ok with it
I have tried many ways in order to wake my sleepy face up but fail

Well classes have been good so far
but recently I am having a scared feelings
well I have a class which is call Business Ethics
at 1st i though that it would be a boring class with all moral values in companies
as managers and employees
there was a chapter where my lecturer would be talking about religion
so i could say that she is a strong Buddhist
and not to miss she is a VEGETARIAN!!!!!!!!
for the past few lessons she has been showing us the process on how people slaughter the animals
with sound effect and video
all of us could not watch the video because it was too grosh to watch it
but she forces us to watch it
a few of my friends could not take it and they lost their appetite
so was i for 1 day
so she told us to be vegetarian so that we would not kill more animals
but come to think again, plants are living things and plants do have blood which is call the septic.
if this and that we could not consume why we are living?????

another thing that matters, as a buddhist, there are many things that we could not do as a buddhist such as drinking, smoking, taking drugs, having open sex, and many more
yes i do agree some of this things we cant do
but what if we do some of this things for pleasure such as drinking is that crime to our religion???
if we were to follow all this we would be living in a dull life.....
all her teachings must have a buddhism teaching where sometimes i felt is too scary as she would indirectly says "if u do smt bad GOD WILL PUNISH YOU!!!!"...
at times i felt i really don noe how to live as a person...hmmmm
because i m always thinking am i a sinful person to be eating chicken, char siu, siu yuk, fish and seafood???????

Summary of Last semester n current one.

Finally is been really long since my last post. Had a rough journey last semester till i have no time to update it. Now is the time i get to update.

There are so many things i want to say but i just don't know where to start.
Well i will just start with a summary of my last semester
Had a rough journey with assignments
Stay up for three nights to finish up my assignments
That was the many times i skip classes
Had a great function that i attended where i would not forget that moment
and FINALLY FINALs where i didn't get what i wanted
So yeah dis was what happen last semester.

The next one would be my birthday where it was wonderful
my LOVELY sister ( u noe who u r)
gave me a really big surprise party together with my family
and that is the moment i always wanted in my entire life
Thank you so much for the effort you gals did

Now is my current semester
Well during the 2 weeks semester break
i took 1 week of my semester break to work and earn some money
(well not to say the money i get could spend my parents dinner is just little only)
BUT i gain some experience of working
is fun actually

Then the semester started
had 3 subjects of 100% FINALS
NO COURSEWORK
but yeah got to really work hard to get back what i want
my classes for this semester starts at 8am
where i dont usually wake up that early
but in the end i made it
to wake up that freaking early
to drag myself to class
with the sleepy face
lol

Friends had been the same to me
meet some new friends along the way
Since now i am a chairperson to my Tennis Club
is kinda hard sometimes due to my poor time management n leadership skills
but i m still surviving without my adviser
Real planning have to be done for my club
In order to not fall into the dead club category.

Well i still have few more weeks or more to reach finals
so thorough study have to be done

Well that it for now.

Outing!!!!!

I can say that today is a good and memorable outing for me...My girl friends and I went to Alamanda Putrajaya for an outing... We left at around 3 something and arrive at around 4 pm and then we had lunch at Burger King...It would not be prefect to just eat then leave the place so we went out to take some pics and SHOPPING for dresses for prom night. Here what we did...









well i know the pictures are alot but it tells everything what we have done...haha....it was a great one and the most expensive outing...well is our new hang out place in future..wee.....

Effort..............=(

I have just got my last semester result and after looking at it i was really disappointed to get what i had expected. It seems like all my effort that i had put into my finals was not paid off...i have stop all my activities just to concentrate on my studies and my assignments. i could still remember the time when i had really had a hard time to do my sociology of work but in the end i did quite well and i got 70 for that assignment. So i was really confident in doing the finals but when the result came out i was shock to see a C2. another disappointment was that i could finally understood my finance and i could even help my friend in doing it. so in finals i was like really delighted that i finally finish my whole paper with answers. ( usually i would flung my finance paper terribly during my high school because i could understand a single transaction). so the feeling was really good. BUT then the result was not wat i expected. i expected a B1 in my finance but then i got a C1 for it...i felt really useless because all my friends are getting As and Bs and for me all Cs...is not fair...what else can i do?????i have put in all the effort in it and this is was i got.....i could even tell my dad that i will definitely get him an A in my year 1. so now with the result i got, i really don't know what else i could do as i am in my year 2. I really do wana get my 1st class honours to prove myself and my family that i am good and also an excellent child.( i am not trying to be snobish)

why cant i get the results that i want???? why my friends could do it and i cant?????

for the whole journey back to INTI NILAI!!!!
haiz..speechless
So that was my day..
But i m still loving it.

woke up early to head to uni.had breakfast with parents with the heart of want to stay for another day at home and on the other hand excited bout the trip...came back uni around 9am and iron yuva's clothing for the wedding...we delay deli in yuva's room till it was so late till we have to rush on make ups and dressing up...hehe...

with my high heels i had to walk super fast to catch the bus but luckily we were not that late. the bus came and we went up and sat to feel the coolness of the air cond because is so hot outside...

the journey took us about 3 hours to batu pahat and we all chit chat among ourselves till v reach batu pahat. besides that i did some camwhoring in the bus...
after reaching the place, we were ask to walk to the house under the hot sun...and we did..till we reach there we were ask to eat 1st then only we get to see my lecturer...is her wedding day..hehe..so we got our food and sat on the vip tables which it does not look like a vip table but we got kick out and sat at another table..and we start chewing our food and then the ceremony starts. we got to take pic with our lecturer and her husband. yipee...the house is loaded with her family members. i could see many camarers were flashing on our faces.


then we headed back to uni.another 3 hours of journey back. i had my sun glases and thinking that i would get some sleep but too bad is so hard to sleep in the bus. we reach inti around 6.30pm and i m already dead tired...tats all for now...good night

Be a nyonya....

" be a nyonya ya"..that was what my mom told me a day before we make dumplings...nyonya dumpling....i was planning to learn how to make nyonya dumpling because i will not get to consume it when my mom is not around in future...But not be a nyonya..haha...so the next morning i tried waking up early and i did at 9am..hehe...so mom and dad started doing half of the dumplings..

here are the ingredients:mince meat, mushroom, gula melaka( malacca sugar) and cook it all together.

i call it banana leave ready made ones and to be put into the steamer the steamer eating time...

after making dumplings, we made yam cake. dad uses the yam that he had planted. it was almost 1 and the half kg yam. it is the 1st time that we make yam cake and this is how it looks like.

thats it for the whole weekend. lol...
